All of us have this common belief somehow that “world is getting worse” each day. Though, there is nothing wrong in it.

Humans have been given the most beautiful planet to live and enjoy the beauty of mother nature. But what have we done to it?

Global warming, natural disaster, and what not?

In fact, humans are fighting against each other on the name of religion, cast, colour, land etc..

Among all these things, it’s common to belief that the previous generation had better life. And the world is now getting worse! However, Factfulness is a big slap on our face to wake us up from our illusionary world.

Factfulness stands true by its name and shares reasons with stats to back that the world is actually getting better. Child literacy rate, women education, child life expectancy has increased drastically in the past decade. Whereas, crime, poverty are decreasing. This may come as a shock after listening all those horrible rape cases but that’s what the truth is.

What you will learn from Factfulness:-

1. Believe in stats:- No doubt that there are so many things that are going wrong in the world but we have also evolved in the past years.

Instead of believing on media, do your research, check the data and then believe on something.

This is especially true when we mindlessly share posts on social media without cross checking the facts.

2. Mind cannot think when in fear:- Our human nature is one of the things that people take advantage of. Media use our human nature against us by spreading news that are more fearful than those good news that can help us believe in humanity.

3. You are on the planet to make it beautiful:- We have seen so many people complaining about small things.

You are given the life of a Human to not to complain all the time.

It’s our duty to make this world a better place. A place that shares love and respect for everyone irrespective of colour, gender or cast.

After reading all those negative news and myths on how the world is shattering, Factfulness is like a blessing in disguise. We think it’s a great read to dig deeper into the reality and build your understanding.
